Can I substitute coconut butter for almond or another nut butter in a recipe? Like a cookie or baked good recipe? Not thrilled about the pufas in almonds. I hardly ever eat them.

You can make your own macadamia nut butter easily with some coconut oil. Only takes a few mins in food processor... but that wasn't what you were asking.

I honestly don't know the answer, but I suspect that coconut butter would be a closer match -- it's the coconut ground into a paste, just like the other nut butters.
