Ok, so my dad just mentioned that I should try turkey eggs sometimes - and it never dawned on me! And when I googled turkey eggs, it doesn't seem as straight forward as I thought it would be - so anybody got the scoop on the turkey egg scene? Where/when can someone buy turkey eggs? Seems delish to me...

A local turkey business (Willie Bird Turkeys) only has them available for sale around Thanksgiving; only time the volume is high enough to make it worth their while, I guess.

They're good, but definitely have a stronger taste than chicken eggs. Also, they're much bigger!

I thought of it the other day when we were at the Amish place picking up hay, chicken eggs and a quilt. They had some turkeys running around and I wondered what turkey eggs would be like. Couldn't get any from the Amish though, so I'm gonna have to find some.
