Nothing is really wrong with tahini, but like most other nuts and seeds, it is high in omega 6 fats. Nuts should be a moderate part of the diet, so eliminating them from the recipe makes it more acceptable to eat copious amounts of it, hehe.

I just made this and yum!! I`ve been missing my hummus too. Someone also suggested a cashew hummus which I have yet to try. I over did it a tad on the garlic this time but I love garlic so no biggie! Thanks for sharing!
