    Happy hunting in the desert

    Wow! Got two jackrabbits in the desert this weekend. Prime, plump animals now stored in stew-sized chunks in the freezer. Hasenpfeffer (hare simmered with lots of pepper in meat stock and wine)will be on the menu soon.

    That's awesome! Where in SoCal did you score them? I was just at Joshua Tree this weekend and saw some yummy-looking jackrabbits.
