Let me start of by saying that I follow the primal diet to the best of my abilities. However, I always have questions and things running throw my head. I guess I still question whether this is the right way to eat.
Here are two things that my mind came up with.
Every time I watch a show about indigenous people (who still live in straw hurts and run around naked) its obvious from the show that most of those tribes still live off hunting and gathering. However, I can't help but notice that the women are always making some kind of starchy goo that they use as a primary source of food because meat is very scarce.
Second thing I ponder: Our pre-agricultural ancestors did not have meat available for breakfast, lunch and dinner the way we do now. They would be lucky to get a kill. And when they did they probably stuffed themselves because it could be days or weeks before they would eat meat again.
How do these two things fit into our adaptation of primal diet. Thanks in advance.
