    Peanut Butter

    Primal Fuel
Need help kicking this food (if you can call it that). For some reason, I could eat this stuff by the jar, if I let myself. Does or did anyone on the forum ever deal with this?

I believe part of my problem is that I am not getting enough calories during the day - trying to keep a deficit to shed the last 10 or so. So some nights I am very hungry looking for a filling snack and I will eat this stuff, sometimes mixed with real butter or coconut oil.

Really looking to cut this our and reduce some of the Omega 6 load.

I have the same problem; I can't stop to a certain degree, once I start.

Can you (have you) make the switch to almond butter?

Almonds Butter has ruined my love for peanut butter, it's naaaaaasty. I skip nut butters altogether, and save peanut butter for a cheat.

I have to respectfully disagree! I use Maranatha and find it pretty tasty, especially with a bunch of apple slices.

I made almond butter at home once and it totally rocked. Try Justin's almond butter. It is totally addictive. I also really like macadamia nut butter. Artisana makes it, but it should be hard to grind up some macadamias with coconut oil.
I probably shouldn't tell you about Peanut Butter & Co's stuff. White chocolate wonderful anyone? *sighs fondly*

Peanuts aren't primal though. They fall on the avoidable legumes list.
