If you like the Starbucks protein plate...

    Primal Fuel
It's so super easy to make yourself! And costs probably 1/5 of what you'll pay at Starbucks.

I have been waking up late frequently and not leaving time to make myself breakfast all of the time. I normally grab a decaf coffee from Starbucks on my way to work, and I've been getting the protein plate because it's pretty primal: White cheddar cheese, hardboiled egg, peanut butter, grapes, apples, muesli bread. I ditch the grapes and muesli normally.

I got tired of paying almost FIVE dollars for something that I can make at home for probably 1 dollar a pop.

Choose your cheese, your fruit, the type of nut butter, or whatever. Sometimes I stick bacon in here because why the hell not!

Just figured I would post this in case it helped anyone. Super easy to prepackage on a Sunday for the workweek.

the *$ here doesnt have the cheese or the bread in their protein snack. Or at least they didnt the one time I got one.

Absolutely make your breakfast at home, but I consider the *$ thing something "good to know in a pinch" Thanks for the reminder, I havent been in one in over a year so I wouldnt have remembered and there have been times I've been detained and remembering that option would be good.

Hard boiled eggs spread with baba ghanoush (or hommus). You'll never want toast again.

I was just in the bux today, looking at their protein plate and thinking they need a "paleo protein plate". Made at home is better but sometimes when I'm out and about I don't have a choice.

A handful of unsalted almonds and macadamia nuts would be a lot less messy than a gob of nut butter...though some greek yogurt would add even more protein than apples (maybe with a few blueberries in it if you crave fruit sweetness).

Greek yogurt is a great idea! I went to Target the other day and could only find low-fat Greek yogurt, but I didn't look terribly hard, either. So I'll keep hunting for some.

The nut butter isn't terribly messy if you use the apples to get every last bit of it

I like the idea of the Greek yogurt, though. I'm starting to not really want much cheese these days for some odd reason.
