    Primal Fuel
    Friday morning... Forgot to journal yesterday. Yesterday's food: B:sausage and caramelized onions (meant to be an omelet, but I didn't realize we had no eggs until after my omelet filling was cooked!
    L: spinach salad with chicken breast, blue cheese, evoo, balsamic.
    D: pork tenderloin, leftover veggies from Wednesday, spinach salad with apple, caramelized onions, blue cheese.
    Also: 2 glasses of wine, 1 tiny piece G&B 85% dark chocolate.

    Today I weighed myself (meaning to only do it once a week, but I'm impatient), and I've lost 2 more lbs since Monday! So a total of 12.

    I'm finally back... went camping over the weekend, came back on Monday night, have been busy with school and being sick (blah!) all week. I got vitamin D supplements (NOW foods 5000 IU) and magnesium powder (Natural Calm, not entirely sure how many mg I want to take every day.. I am taking someone's suggestion to start at 100 mg and work up about another 100/day until, as the Natural Calm bottle says, my "bowels are comfortable loose", hahaha.) It seems like a lot of supplementation, but I am excited to see some benefits... I am planning on doing that at-home vitamin D test in a couple months to make sure my levels are good.

    Today:
    B: omelet with onion, green bell pepper, sausage, cheddar
    L: spinach salad with tuna (some mayo), olive oil, red wine vinegar
    D: cheeseburger, caesar salad, grilled squash


    Goal: Feel good, be active!

    Today I ate:
    B: omelet- 2 eggs plus spinach, red onion, feta
    L: chicken tenders with colby, bacon. salad with blue cheese, cooked baby carrots
    D: bacon :P
    Still sick, little better than yesterday, hoping to be all better soon.

    Next time you feel the slightest bit of a sickness coming on, go ahead and load up on D3, zinc, and vitamin C. Honestly, it works wonders. I haven't been full-blown sick in well over a year now.

    Ooh, I will remember this, thanks! I was surprised at how long this is lasting... I don't get sick very much, usually.

    So, I weighed myself this morning, and I have gained 1.8 lbs since last week :X When D and I went camping last weekend, we ate out a few times (visiting old favorite places), and I cheated, but I am disappointed to find that even after being primal all week, I am still up 1.8 lbs. I am going to try harder to eat less nonprimal things in the future.. it's just not worth it, when primal stuff tastes so good anyway. And I have noticed I'm eating a lot of cheese this week, so I'll try to cut that down to once a day, too.

    Almost asleep. Got to get up early and dissect a sheep's brain in anatomy! Today I went to the dentist must floss more. Also weighed self at 190.8. Almost into the 180s!!
    B- omelet- 2 scrambled eggs, bell pepper, onion, sausage, spinach, cheddar. Sautéed in bacon grease!
    L- turkey and cream cheese rollups. Coffee with half and half and agave.
    D- chicken meatballs, grilled shrimp fajita peppers and onions, spinach salad with blue cheese, apple, walnuts, caramelized onion. That salad is SO good, I could eat it like every other day.

    Bed time! I have been taking food pics, I will try to figure out how to post them soon.

    L: leftover salad and more meatball/veggies
    D: grilled chicken breast, asparagus. Berries and cream
    S: turkey/cream cheese rollup, small piece dark chocolate

    Took a nice bath this afternoon

    D: broccoli and cheddar quiche, almond-meal crust. 2 glasses white wine.
