Cream cheese plus ... ? page

So, I'm wondering what to eat with cream cheese. Used to be, I'd spread it on crackers, but that's out. I could eat the cream cheese by itself, but it's not terribly exciting. Any ideas?

You can whip up cream cheese with any spices you like and use it as a dip or spread. I spread freshly sliced cucumbers and celery with it all of the time or make little veggie towers with layers of cream cheese between them. Those require something sturdy as a base, like a slice of cucumber and you can get creative and use whatever veggies you have on hand. Sliced ham with cream cheese and dill pickles wrapped up (very similar to above) is a go-to snack. My favorite use for cream cheese is however: cheesecake cups with either a nut crust or no crust at all.

cream cheese is great on cucumber slices or celery....

or spread on deli meat and roll up

I eat cream cheese with canned fish (usually salmon). Stole the idea from philadelphia sushi rolls.
