Dairy and mood
Have been experimenting with dairy lately, doing a week on/week off. After cutting it out for a week, I felt fine, but having reintroduced it this week (in the form of mascarpone cheese and greek yogurt), I've noticed a significant mood boost after consumption. Don't know whether this could be related to the dairy fat or the insulin spike, but has anyone else had this effect?
An occasional glass of raw milk will definitely give me an energy boost. If I have dairy consistently, though, it does the opposite, especially if it's pasteurized.
