I definitely think there's benefits to consuming it raw. For one, you don't have to waste time cooking.
Also I've read a lot about heat created toxins.
It also makes sense that if the omega 3 in flax seed oil goes bad when cooked, that the same would happen when cooking omega 3 containing foods.
