My reading list is more "commercial" than you guys.
I'm reading:
Water for Elephants
Wuthering Heights(re-reading actually)
A Map of Glass
I have:
Clan of the Cave Bear
The Help
Sarah's Key
already lined up.
Two Years Before the Mast sounds cool! Is it good?

decent. it's an edited diary, so of course at times it's a little slow, but still very interesting.
i've read wuthering heights a few times. good book, very dark. you should follow it up with Thomas Hardy's "jude" for something darker.

I'm reading Nora Ephron's I Feel Bad About my Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman. Next will be Mitch Albom's The Five People you Meet on your Way to Heaven. I know they're more fluff but right now, I think that's all I can handle.

I recently finished an AMAZING Spongebob Squarepants book. I highly recommend any of the books in the series.

geo, i think fluffy is just the order of the day. i need to keep some "romance" novels on hand just for that purpose. hehe, takes the edge off when i'm getting the cold shoulder.
what on earth is the spongebob book?

Spongebob Squarepants is the reason my friends' kids always used to get a kick out of the fact that my name is Patrick, as if the name didn't exist pre-1999. I've seen a few episodes and it's funny enough. It's kind of a more clever and way less insanely frenetic Ren & Stimpy.

I do a great impersonation of Patrick Star. I've had lots of practice reading Spongebob books.
