Best primal salad dressing? page

I eat salad every single day pretty much and want to experiment with new dressings. Right now I do organic extra virgin olive oil and Braggs apple cider vinegar exclusively. I am getting pretty bored with this combo and was hoping someone had some new exciting combos for me!

It keeps for a very long time and it doesn't need to be refrigerated. I am also looking for new salad dressing recipes since I have been eating this one for so long. I just ordered avacato oil so hopefully I can make something good with that.

I made this without the honey. Really tasty I thought - and it reminded me of the taste of BBQ potato chips, if you like them


Ingredients

* 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
* 1/3 cup honey
* 1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
* 1 tablespoon lime juice
* 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 1/4 teaspoons smoked paprika
* 1 clove garlic
* 2 tablespoons chopped onion
* 1/4 teaspoon oregano
* 1 pinch white sugar (optional)
* 1/2 cup olive oil


Directions

1. Blend the red wine vinegar, honey, mustard, lime juice, pepper, salt, paprika, garlic, onion, oregano, and sugar together in a blender until thoroughly mixed. Drizzle the olive oil into the mixture while blending on low. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.

Hot sauce, (fatty cultured) sour cream, and mushed avocado. All over a green salad with a meat, its like a taco.

These are my regular "toppings" but they are so rich and spread-y, I just omit the "dressing."

Here's my favorite.

1/2 cup of good olive oil
couple cloves of garlic with the germ removed
couple dashes of Balsamic Vinegar
Frozen Organic Raspberries (about a 1/2 of cup thawed)
Fresh Thyme (couple pinches)
Sea Salt/Ground pepper to taste

Put it all in a food processor or blender and let it go.

I use 4 tablespoons on a head of romaine lettuce, with turkey, bacon, and peppers, for my lunch BAS.

Takes about five minutes to make all.

I store the remaining dressing in the refer for use each day.

In the PB cookbook, there's a "creamy" dressing meant for roasted cauliflower - but it's delicious on everything!

Just whisk together:
1T dijon mustard
1T olive oil
2T lemon juice
1/3 c coconut milk
