Started eating like a cave-ish person today, not hard, I love veggies and meat.
Walked/jogged 2 miles, did 30 burpees in the a.m.
Cleared brush, burnt brush from backyard.
50 burpees tonight.
Do you more cavish people think that is sufficient?
Just as a bar to measure by, I'm 6ft 285lbs.
80 burpees at your bodyweight is pretty impressive - probably too much for everyday, but good effort once in a while. also you say walked/jogged: I assume you walked because you could not jog all the way. if this is right, 2 miles is again quite a lot of effort for your current level.
I would say today is almost a sprint day, so ensure sufficient recovery. And keep the exercises varied, and throw in some weights
Had a old inner tube in the garage and building sand was free from the
construction site next door so I made myself a Bulgarian sandbag!!
Will that suffice for the heavy lifting for now if I use it while squatting?

Id say its abt 40-45lbs, I'll weight it later.
Yeah, check them out when you get time - I post workouts every week and there are some instructional videos on there too. That might well do you weight-wise for now. You can also get hold of a bigger bag as and when you need it. I squat with a 90kg sandbag.
