    Trivium is a great band. Matt Heafy's an animal on the guitar and Corey Beaulieu ain't too shabby, either. Their album Ascendancy is a great album and where I'd recommend starting. Their older stuff's a bit rough to listen to for some people since it's a lot of screaming, but their current stuff is the closest thing to "metal" that exists anymore.
