Duck Leg and Thigh (quick help!) page

I bought a duck leg and thigh from the farmers market

All I have to cook with are a non-stick frying pan (rubber handle, can't go in oven) and a pyrex glass dish and aluminum foil


Using these things, how can I cook this duck for dinner tonight? Tricky! I've never cooked duck before.

Shazkar, I found a scalable recipe for you. You can brown the duck on top of the stove in your skillet, then use the Pyrex dish to finish it in the oven. Damn, I'm jealous... you just made me drool. Mmmmmmmm....DUCK.

I think with just a leg, you would be fine to cook it all the way on the stove top. You just need to find a brick. This technique makes crispy skin, which for duck would be amazing.
