And since low carb and ketogenic diets cause your brain waves to balance instead of fluctuating wildly like an insane, vitriolic vegan, imagine how many people would be off their Prozac from their diet-induced depression? Oh, and imagine how much money the politicians would lose in their campaigns since the pharmaceutical companies don't have billions to donate to their campaigns anymore to promote the food pyramid. And then there's the increase in life-span that going primal would give. I must be a crazy conspirator to think that the reasoning behind the food pyramid isn't health but rather drug company profits, campaign contributions and population control. That's just CRAZY TALK! I guess I'm one of those conspiracy nuts, huh?

Hmm, I've been holding that in for awhile now.
Imagine a world that wasn't run by money , and we were able to live the way we're suppose to live, Willing to help one another without having the background voices of greed in your ears.. and not just experiencing "freedom" (as they call it) But Actually living it. The world without money would create a world without power .. and a world without power .. is a peaceful one.. I figure anyways..

Hey, I agree it sounds nice, but I believe that it's human nature to compete for incentives. Communism and socialism never work because they remove people's incentive to better themselves and people stop working as there is no reward to work harder and advance. I like many advances in modern society, and it surely isn't all bad by any means. The problem is when the government comes in and purposely incentivizes corporations to fill our foods full of knowingly unhealthy things as a method of population control and money-making. THAT is where we're at as a society right now, and as usual, if the government didn't have their hands in it, we wouldn't have these issues. It wouldn't make financial sense to literally poison our meats by making it cheapest to feed animals grains instead of the grasses they evolved to eat. Make no mistake about it, if the FDA didn't exist as the massive government entity it is, we'd all be much healthier.

But getting too political probably isn't the best thing to do

This is what I love about the forums. We all agree with these basic concepts, and here, we are not the crazy conspirators because WE GET IT! But wow, talk about this to your non-primal friends? Then yes, I am the crazy one. So thanks for venting, I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm not very political, except when it comes to this crap....just pisses me off! Ok, I'll let it go now......grok on!

Yep, we're not crazy. The lack of sugar has finally balanced our brain waves enough that we can think clearly Hey, I don't want to fall asleep at work anymore at 2pm!

Well, I took some advice and did some very low intensity cardio today instead of doing sprints as usual. I ran a measly 3 miles at a 5.5-6 mph pace. It kinda felt like I didn't do anything, so I did 2 one minute sprints at 11.5 and 12.3 mph respectively. After so many years of cardio, it feels weird doing it so...half-assed...

Ok, I finally pulled my pics off my camera from Tuesday and resized them.

    Week 6 - March 29, 2011

    Stats:
    143 lbs
    31" waist
    12.42% BF

Looking forward to next week. I scrapped my daily apple and I think it's making a difference. Next week, I want to try to swap an avocado in lieu of the bigass salad but I don't know if I can handle that low of calories
