    I was curious about incorporating truffle oil in my recipes.

    Not that it really matters since you don't chug the stuff, but what kind of oil do they use? I would think it would be a very neutral oil, meaning soy or something. Party pooper, I know.

    You mean as a carrier? Good question.


    I didn't ponder that, as I assume that the amounts utilized in a recipe would be extremely small.

    I have found olive oil infused with white and black truffles each. Both at "Oil & Vinegar"-a franchise store, and at my local grocery in Helena. I believe I have only seen olive oil as the oil for these two flavors.
