Yes, man. That was the article I was talking about. I just quickly scanned it but have it bookmarked to read more in depth later (with a glass of wine). I don't really care too much about fat loss, to be honest, but I'll look for any way I can to justify my wine consumption to naysayers. *grin*
Yes, i am with you on that. Nothing beats it really, especially a great pub in the backstreets of London. Back in the day i would have added a smoke to that drink and conversation, but that ain't so good for you. A smoke, a pint of guinness, and good people around...aaahhh. Still, done every once in a while is ok for me.
Japanese whisky is excellent. I had some last weeks after a friend bought some back. So warm and smooth. Not really a fan of beer. I like it rare and bottled when i do, but Guinness is a fine tipple
Sure, if a guy is ripped not even a pizza p/wk would throw him off the 8% bodyfat express. Assuming you meant one drink per week, not one bottle![]()
A drink a week?? UGH Why bother? The bottle is ruined from oxidation in that week....guess it`d be a good excuse to go out and have a drink though![]()

Ah, great article linked! Explains why I can sometimes weigh in lower after a night of drinking vodka water and stay in ketosis. It flushes all the water out!
I brew my own beer from scratch and enjoy the process, its more of a hobby I guess.
I drink on weekends and enjoy few thing's more than kicking back on the veranda and watching the sun set through the trees with a cold beer.
Or a large double screwdriver if there's no beer ready..
I've actually taken a shine to spiced mead lately and plan to knock up a batch shortly, that'll be nice for winter.
Having mates the same age who look like fat pissheads is all the inspiration I need to keep a lid on the drinking nowadays..
