    Paleo VS Primal Blueprint

    ok I first did PB and did really well and lost like 30 pds
    then had some health issues and things came up and went off it and screwed up
    then got Rob Wolfs book (due to an article on leaky gut he has written) and decided to try paleo
    gave it an honest go for 8 weeks strict strict..not overdoing on nuts etc no cheese etc
    lost 10 pds off the bat and stopppppppppppppppppped not an inch or pd since so decided to come back to PB
    plus I miss cheese on occassion................not sure why it didn't pan out for me

    There's not really any difference, although i seem to remember reading Sisson advocating dairy. Not sure though.

    But otherwise same difference. 'Primal' is just a brand name to be fair.

    Strict Paleo avoids all Neolithic foods such as dairy, nightshades, white rice whether or not an individual can tolerate them. Primal says if it doesn't give you any issues go for it.

    To the OP: what are your height and current weight, and what are you trying to get down to? What is a typical day of eating like, and how are your portion sizes?

    But most paleos aren't so strict. If you go over to paleohacks (another forum) there are quite a few dairy, nightshade, and white rice eaters. i eat all three and consider myself paleo.
