Scallops and chorizo :)

Bought some chorizo picante, the spicier sausage, and this was amazing.
Who else eats sausage? Or consider Nigella to be true queen of Britain?
I am a big fan of both, and although I don't eat chorizo too often, I will definitely be giving this a try.
Chorizo seems like it would overpower the delicate sweet taste of scallops. Did you still get the scallop flavor coming through?
Yaish, the chorizo compliments the scallops for me. The slight tang that's left on your tongue by the chorizo doesn't takeover any taste of the scallops, but rather adds to it. It's a bit difficult to explain, but chorizo and shellfish are a match made in heaven. When spring tide comes I'll probably make a post about razorfish (or razor clam) hunting, which is lots of fun!
