    Obscene Amounts of Chicken Stock

    Primal Fuel
Since I'm cooking a lot of chicken thighs and legs with onion and garlic in the crock pot, I'm acquiring obscene amounts of chicken stock.

What do I do with it? I skimmed the fat off the top and have it separate in the fridge.

If I wanted to listen to an asshole, I'd fart.

Baggie it up and freeze it.

It is, but then what do I do with it? The only thing I've generally used stock for is soup.

Freeze it and use it anywhere you might use water in a savory dish.

Freeze some of it in icecube trays for when you need just a little bit...like steaming veggies.

If you have freezer space, I tend to freeze the carcasses, bones and pan drippings until I have several and then make a huge batch all at once. I also keep a baggie in the freezer for veggies a bit past their prime that I toss in to flavor the stock.

If you have a pressure canner you can can broth which can save on your freezer space.

You can use it to cook veggies in, add it as liquid with a roast, use it in mashed veg, make yummy sauces, and do all kinds of lovely things beyond just soups.

Poach eggs in it, makes curries with it, use in place of water in savory recipes...

Not quite sure about the shipping on that.

It is, however, the lovely kind that effectively turns into Jello in the fridge.
