    Poured rain all day.

I think it's salmonella. That's the only thing that fits the symptoms & timing. Five to seven days, they say, to get rid of it. This is only day three.

Depressed today. It's like I'm just completely sapped of everything. Brain power, happiness, energy.

GOTD: Doing a bang up job of dieting and exercise and then BAM! during sandbag swings my lower back decides to lock up on me like it did last november and in december. So now I can't workout. Whatever. I'll just be a huge cow next to my fit ass sister at her wedding. I dont care.

So you were counting on exercise to lose the weight for you?

I read an article a while back about a study that showed that people who diet and exercise to lose weight often end up giving up both when something goes wrong and they have to temporarily stop exercising.

    How heartbreaking.

Worst part was that her teenage son was in the house when he killed her, and she leaves behind 2 sons that her sister will be raising. Just awful to do that to your kids, let alone your ex.

Pithy quote from my Dad re a whole WWII barracks full of guys who all had the same undercooked chicken for dinner when there's only two latrines, "Salmonella is the shits".

Me, too. If you lived close enough, we could be dumpy and mopey together.
I have a mantra that I have spouted for years... "If I eat right, I feel right. If I feel right, I exercise right. If I exercise right, I think right. If I think right, I eat right..." Phil-SC

I'm definitely having a quarter-life existential crisis at the moment, doubting lots of choices I've made in the past that have led me to this point.

That happens. Just remember that regrets get you nowhere- action does. So if you don't like where you are now, take some action steps and move forward so five years from now you don't have the same regrets.
