Funeral appropriate pants no longer fit... much too baggy.
I found a very nice dark, tweedy, longish, flared skirt while closet shopping... I HATE skirts with all of my being, I feel like I'm in 'costume' when I wear them. It's from years ago when I still tried to play that role... but it's a classic style so what year it was made matters not.
It's a two day affair funeral and I don't want to buy more pants than necessary because I have ZERO need for proper slacks... and I'm still losing weight... even more rapidly lately.
Any new pair I buy will likely not even fit me if the next funeral is in a couple of months!
So I put on my big girl panties, suck it up, and wear a SKIRT. Bleh.
And buy a new pair of pants.
And new blouses...
I HATE clothes shopping.
Car parts/tools I get... clothes, NO!
Didn't get that 'girl' gene.
** Edit: So, I realize that pants being "much too baggy" shouldn't be a GOTD... but when you have a funeral to go to, sometimes you just want your fucking pants to fit. ='(
Too emotional today. I admit it. LOL

“You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.”
And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.
My sorely neglected blog - http://ThatWriterBroad.com
Yet another area wher it is easier to be a chap - I can still get away with all my old clothes, some of the t-shirts look a bit daft, but a belt sorts out the pants, I always prefere on the lose side anyway It's not 'optimal' but would do.
You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................
Cori, I'm with you. I only like clothing shopping in thrifts. The thrill of the hunt, the steal of the deal. Finding an Anne Klein suede skirt that fits like it was tailored for you - for $4 - yesss. But retail leaves me cold.
My mini-gripe. I wish we had a decent 24 hour market here. I'm doing one of my insomnia things, and would really like to do something productive like getting a few non-food items I'm out of. Even a 24 hour Walmart would work for that. Instead, by the time all the markets open, I'll be closing my eyes to catch up on the sleep I lost. I should probably gripe about insomnia, but I don't really dislike it. Quiet pre-dawn hours are lovely.
I am so fucking sick of the spam on this board.
