GOTD: Resumes--I can't turn the everyday things that I do into something that sounds super special. My friend critiqued mine and was like "did you do this at your job? or this? etc." Well yeah, I did, but we called that DOING OUR JOB...not reloading resources to meet an ever-changing workload while attaining goals and ensuring customer satisfaction. Plus, I'm just crappy at narcissism, and that's really what a resume is, right?

It's about talking yourself up and selling yourself to a potential employer. It's a fine line - trying to make what you do/did sound important without overstating what you did. I hate it too, so YANA.
