Yeah I dunno. I'll pretty much try anything, but there are things I'll draw the line at... this is one of them.

I read this on BBC earlier today and I must say I am disappointed. Not because the ice cream is made of breast-milk but that it could have been sold to a breast-milk bank instead.

Organic? Do they have any control over the diet here?

UK milk banks don't pay for milk. I raised the same issue on FB and someone told me that the donor milk came from an area of the UK where there are no milk banks. The ice cream manufacturers were happy to have it travel the distance but it wouldn't have been accepted by a London milk bank.

However it would be nice if they donated some of the profits to BLISS or LLL or another similar charity. Put their money where their mouth is.

Breastmilk being bought and sold as a commercial commodity makes me cringe. Is nothing sacred in this sick world!!

Same here, it's all about the source. I assume anyone not up for trying it surely does not consume milk products from any other animals...

should pasteurized shit really be called organic? i'd bet breast milk is healthier than cow milk, but of course they had to go the fetish angle with it
