How much krill oil to take each day?

    Primal Fuel
I've been trying to cut back on my supplements since it seems I'm spending more than I can afford on them lately. Krill oil is the most expensive ($1/day)... do I need to be taking 1,000mg per day like the bottle says, or would 500mg be enough? Also, do I still need to take it on the days I eat oily fish? Thanks!

    Bueller?

Can a few people at least tell me how much you take, so I can get an idea of a good average?

    I use the following brand:
    http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Neptu...els/11215?at=0

The dosage is supposed to be 2 small gelcaps per day, with breakfast.

... but you're right, it *is* expensive. I, too, have been cutting back on my krill oil intake. Given that I take 5-12 grams of EPA/DHA each day (in addition to the krill oil), I started experimenting with cutting out the krill oil, and in general, I haven't noticed negative effects. I plan to take 2 krill oil gelcaps per day, maybe once a week or so, when I think of it.

Thanks...that's the brand I take as well. I'm thinking (hoping) on the days I eat seafood I can skip it but if it's really important, I'd rather cut out something else.
