Hello, I have candida/intestinal dysbiosis, and I will be getting oral surgery done in a few weeks.
I have worked ridiculously hard to get my gut back to bearably functional. I do not want to take antibiotics as a mere preventative measure.
Do any of you have any experience with alternatives such as oil of oregano, garlic, echinea, etc?
Thanks in advance!
I recently used oil of oregano diluted in olive oil to successfully fight a nasty sinus/ear infection. In addition to that, I consumed at least one clove of garlic every day (usually in omelets, but sometimes I did eat it plain, with lots of water or some raw milk as a chaser). I believe raw apple cider vinegar is supposed to be helpful against candida too. I used to take 1 tablespoon of it in about 8 oz. water, with a dab of honey or maple syrup to make it more palatable. Warmed up a bit, it was almost like a tea.
