    Tires?

What sort of LHT can I do with tires?

I'm flat-ass broke right now (vet bills plus roommate departing) so I'm using what I have on hand.

I have some pickup tires that are pretty well worn out-with a piece of plywood over the top & bolted down, I can see box jumps happening; But other than just packing them around-

What else can a girl do with a couple tires? I'm having 'writer's block' at the moment.

    Any ideas?

you can beat the shit out of them with a sledge hammer.

also, can you get the plywood off? tires great to just pick up, carry, or throw.

    I have several-like 8 (from my boss...long story!)

Never thought about the sledge hammer option...that'll work.

Might try throwing them-not sure if I'm capable of getting them airborn yet or not-but I know one way to find out.

I got one from the tire place down the road for nix.
Its big enough so that its a challenge to flip,(about 175lbs) and beating the snot out of it with a 15lb hammer is one of most taxing to can do.

Attach an eye hook and a rope and you got a sled for dragging.

There is a tire that looks like it was used from a tire swing that has been lying unclaimed for the past week around the corner from my house. It may be small but it may serve some of these purposes...

Grab the tire, swing it up over your head and throw it as far as you can, then sprint to the tire and repeat.

If you take a tire and swing it against a tree like an axe fast - that's a great workout. Great for your core -- do it on both sides.
You can also take it over your head and slam the ground with it. That is a great full body exercise that will tire you out.

LOL! I KNEW you guys would come up with awesome suggestions! I need to get out of my 'adult' space and get back in to my 'kid' space and remember how to PLAY. Ugh.

I think I need to plant a tall hedge around my yard so I can play at will and my neighbors can't see me. :-) I'm surrounded by old people, and they'll have me hauled off to the psych ward if they see me flinging and chasing a tire.
