Thread: Salmon Steak with Prawns, in Cilantro-Lemon Reduction page

    Primal Fuel


    1 large salmon steak

    4-5 large raw White Prawns, peeled

    2 T. Ghee for sauteeing

    2 T. Lemon Juice

    1/4 c. fresh chopped Cilantro

    Salt, to taste


    Saute Salmon in the Ghee until just cooked through. Remove to warmed plate. Add Prawns and Lemon Juice to pan and saute just until Prawns turn pink, about two or three minutes. Add Cilantro and salt; stir and pour over Salmon.


    (Apologies for not providing a photo- we had a "Plating Mishap" in the kitchen :-( )

    The knee is doing better overall, but kinda hurts today. Tomorrow will be better.


    Hope you like the recipe when you try it. I had it for lunch about 12:30 pm my time; it's now 6:47 pm and I am still not hungry yet, so it was a bargain as well as being delicious :-D

    It does--- I have two bags of frozen peas, which are my "knee peas". They're in place now :-)

    Kuno, this is unfair. I'm IFing today and you had to post this recipe! *Drooling*


    @Darlene: I've used frozen peas as ice packs before and eaten the peas after that Ofcourse, the pack was unopened when I used them.
