I think that would be terrific! I'd do Italian sausage, either hot or sweet.

I used Italian Sausage as the crust meat and topped it with pepperoni, lots of cheese, sauce, and veggies.

mmm...those look fantastic! i wanted to make this tonight but didn't have any cheese (or rather, i had maybe 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese) so i ended up making a ground turkey "crust", adding tomato sauce on top, then sliced zuchinni and then the parmesan. i'll definitely make meatza with the other package of ground turkey i have!

I'm looking forward to this simply because I think meatloaf gets boring sometimes, and this sounds like thin meatloaf+toppings. This makes me thinks of all different kinds of toppings (not just pizza oriented ones).

Still, the best primal pizza I've EVER made was this one. Nothing beats it. http://www.health-bent.com/salads/pizza-salad

I did mushrooms, pepperoni, and bell peppers. AMAZING. I'd add onion and all kinds of stuff next time.

Just today I was trying to think of something new to do with ground beef. Found it! I posted the link to the antihousewife.com meatzza recipe on my FB, it will be interesting to see if any of my friends comment about all the fat, lol!
