What music do you folks have pumping for motivation during your workouts?

I'll start...Right now I'm on a David Guetta and Daft Punk kick.

Music on my iPod to make it feel like I'm somewhere else other than work, 'Rodrigo y Gabriela'.

    I grok, therefore I am.

    Pendulum.

    Prodigy

Leftfield - Leftism, one of my favourite albums of all time.

Climbing, I like a suprisingly mellow soundtrack. Jack Johnson and Newton Faulkener etc.

Seven Summits starting Easter 2010 with Elbrus, so lining up some tracks for that, probably going a bit heavier.

Industrial metal- something like Ramstein to get me going. (I'm seeing them in Feb-yay!)

I also listen to Middle Eastern music e.g. Natasha Atlas when I'm doing Arabesque dancing.

Main artists for hard, dark Drum & Bass if I feel like going at it aggressive.

The Prodigy is your classic madness. Fat of the land and Invaders Must Die are my favourites.

The Samurai Champloo soundtrack (4 albums) by Nujabes, Tsutchie & Fat Jon and Force of Nature is pretty damn diverse.
The Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future soundtracks all have catchy and original beats that never get old!
If I want something really mellow, or just downright beautiful instrumental, I'll listen to some Beautiful Killing Machine (what a paradox, eh?)

    Those are my main staples!

the bombastic sound of symphonic metal: Kamelot and Nightwish, mostly

I can't imagine starting a workout listening to anything other than Kamelot's "Center of the Universe" or the first 3-4mins of Nightwish's "The Poet and the Pendulum".
