Pennington Biomedical Reasearch Center - The Carb Lover's Diet (Say it ain't so)

    Primal Fuel
I am a real big fan of the work done at at PBRC, but recently one of it's staff came out in support of this diet plan that include what they call "Resistant Starches". I gotta say this really diminishes them a little in my mind.

the source for this diet is a dietitian and a health editor.

we shall see how it fairs, it seems a more vegetarian centered way of eating.
But if it helps people good for them.

and again they push that "carbs are the number one fuel for your brain" tidbit.
We need to have a global discussion about the epidemic of donut murder

I hope that this is not a trend for PBRC. They have produced some really great studies

Wow...I thought I was the only person on these forums from Baton Rouge.
As soon as I saw Pennington in the headline I thought “Wait...really!?” Good to see someone else from the area eating this way.

And yeah...Pennington is amazing...but not perfect.
