Eh, coffee brews about as fast as water boils. That said, I have definitely drank my share of instant coffee. Hell, I remember getting the little folgers packs from MREs and putting the instant granules in my lip like it was chew.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

Hubby needs to switch from using a French Press so I'm looking at other options.
That's the one. Not sure if they have Kroger's/Fry's Grocery Store near you but I just bought mine there. On sale for $38 and they had a $5 off coupon to go with it.

Well, if it makes you feel better we all like you way more than coffee does.

I have a tough Mr coffee, my mom prefers Melita. I would love a kuerig. I have done the cold brew and its OK but you have to stay like a day ahead to have it ready every morning.

I have to say, the French press is impressive. I use that as well.

Thanks Canio, we like the fact that it's programmable, can't do that with a french press.

How about a French press? I keep thinking I ought to go that route, but haven't taken the plunge (so to speak) yet.

I have one (okay, two) and love them. The programmable pot, as UF mentioned, is convenient because I can set it before bed, wake up, have a cup then take the whole thermal carafe to work with me. At home I use the French Press as it gives a better cup of coffee.
