I haven't tried it either to be honest. I try to avoid substitutes if possible because if I like the angry bread I will start thinking about normal bread and then I will stage a raid on a bakery. She seems to like it though, and it is easy as hell to make.

His angry bread is really good. If I'm wanting an Italian sub, that's my go to.

For the most part, that's my take on it. He is going lower sugar and eating far fewer carbs than he used to, so as of right now, I'm letting him feel his way along to where he wants to be.

Good plan. It sounds like he is headed in the right direction.

The angry bread is so filling you don't want anything else.

It's not that so much as I just kinda think about it and go "eh, I don' wanna" and grap lettuce or spinach or wahtever.

I can't get into lettuce wraps. That just depresses me.

Me either. Lettuce in general is pretty off-putting. The one thing I missed bread for was egg yolks but then I learned that sausage, bacon, steak etc can be used to get egg yolk to my mouth pretty effectively.

Who said anything about a wrap? I'm talking salad style.

Salads are great. My lunch one was pretty stellar.
