I definitely want an ice cream maker. Maybe at Christmas I'll get one.

Good idea! You could always make sorbet for Caitlyn.

I meant to say *if I remain, since I want to try and cure it with probiotics & small amounts of yogurt everyday Maybe I'll make some yogurt this weekend.

From what I read in some Amazon reviews about the KitchenAid mixer attachment, it's best to add the extra stuff towards the end. Now you know! I expect a full report after the next batch!

She'll suffer through for ice cream. She's not a fan of sorbet.

Yup, I added it at the end (last 5 minutes of 20) but still think it could have had an effect. Next time I will let K add her own once it is done. That way I can avoid the candy crush.

Report will be forthcoming when next the ice cream and I do battle.

Yeah, me either. Best of luck on your ice cream endeavors!

Yeah, I was referencing the drug in Brave New World. I didn't know there was actual drug named Soma.

I absolutely LOVE ice cream............ but my tummy doesn't. Not only am I lactose intolerant to the MAX! (think, box of Exlax and birthing pains) but it also makes me feel very nauseous even when I take sufficient lactose enzymes. So, I do my best to avoid it. sadly there are times when my cravings overpower my common sense.

We have a Cuisinart ice cream maker. its small but it works great!

    my motivation

    As per Marcadav:
    Do 30-60 days clean primal.
    No grains, sugar, alcohol.
Eat 3 meals and primal snacks.
    Don't track food.
    Don't tweak.
Don't expect issues to go away quickly. Instead, just follow the plan and see how things play out.
Decide on an exercise plan you can/will do consistently during the 30-60 days and then do it.

As do I. It worked well. Sorry to hear that ice cream doesn't agree with you.
