I know. I figure if anyone had some class and decorum around here it was Sabine. Then she brings up shredded cabbage. The shame!
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

It may be out of character for the good lady, but maybe there should be some form of penance......

    Coleslaw!

Take a round, firm head of cabbage. Rip off any bruised leaves. Then with your biggest, sharpest knife slice it into shreds. Be gentle. Whip up a creamy dressing. Toss it, and let it wait.

What's not to like? Don't y'all have any imagination?

Just read this section of the thread to Honey, (He thinks we're all lunatics, now.) and we got talking about coleslaw. No, not coleslaw. Just coleslaw. He said he likes it sweeter than I do (big surprise, as I always felt guilty for making my coleslaw sweet) and thinks it should have horseradish in it. Now that is an interesting idea. Will be making sweet and spicy coleslaw today.

And maybe sweet and spicy coleslaw tonight.

    Honey probably thinks right!

Horseradish in slaw, sounds, err, yeah, interested to know how that turns out?

Hope you have a good night......

    So today I learned...

even the most mundane cold sidedish can be oh so hot.

    Sabine likes her's sweet.
    Her husband likes it spicy.

The rest of us just like to watch...er....
