I guess I should clarify that Momma was a sailor and Daddy spent his days talking to truckers, so . . .

The first words I remember hearing growing up was fuck this that and the other. I'm actually surprised I never said fuck as a first word.

Hmm...I said the f word in front of my mother once (I was 24-25 at the time). I still have a knot on my head from where she smacked me
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

I've said it about 5 times in front of my mom and the only time she didn't smack me was during labor with Caitlyn. My sister Cheryl was the one that always dropped fuck at the drop of a hat. My oldest niece drops it almost as casually as her mom.

something about apples and trees. Of course, my mom is an angel, which makes me one as well. I'm just of the more fallen variety.

Mom never swore. I think Cheryl picked the habit up from all her years working at the police department with dad.
