I haven't even met my boss yet. I've talked on the phone with her a gazillion times, but never seen her in person. I'll meet her in August.

    Enjoy it while it lasts.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

From what I've heard is this: she's a nice person, but does not give constructive criticism and does a lot of flip flopping. Some of the emails here are enough to drive a person bonkers.

I bought Pink Lady apples yesterday and they are AMAZING. I am now seriously bummed out that I have boring old Gala apples to finish before I can dig into them.

LOL Sorry you still have to eat the boring ones, but hey, at least you have something to look forward to

I've never seen pink lady apples. How are they taste and texture wise to Gala?

I find them to be firmer than Galas which to me are more mealy. Think more granny smith (in texture) and less 'delicious' type apple texturewise. As for taste, I can't say, as I can't eat Galas due to the horrible mouthfeel.

Pink Lady's are kind of bittersweet to me. Can't compare them to anything else right now because all I can think of how much I love them.
