I'm one of those in the minority that didn't read the book and got it. I just had a good enough support system here that there was no need to read it.

The heathen of the forums need to just figure out how to use their collective minds and maybe there wouldn't be that much stupidity out here. They're the family members we do our damndest to avoid at family reunions.

Ah, my family decided the best way to avoid each other at family reunions is not to have family reunions.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

This is why I've stopped going to mine. The ironic part is they miss my food more than they miss me.

When I give advice in the greater forum, it is always. Read the book! or The PB says...

I wish newbies would read other threads from newbies before posting.

O, Canio, Canio, wherefore art thou Canio?
Do not leave us here alone and dreary!

For if you did you would never again hear titillating stories about how I went to buy huntin' guns, just a big ol' turkey/duck Benelli SuperNova, and then ate huge burgers (sans bun) for dinner at the Tilted Kilt!

Ah, now that looks like my kind of place. I think it is a great sign of progress when scantily clad young women bring me food.

I love Tilted Kilts burgers. The girls at the one here aren't so hot.
