Huh, that is too bad. I really like fruit. I don't eat tons of it but lately an apple a day seems to be working.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I haven't had one in months.

1 fruit a day has been working great for me as well. I love the Del monte fruit cups packed in juice.

Nice. I will have to give them a try once my apple mania dies down.

So far today has been rainy, which is nice. This is supposed to continue through the weekend along with cold temperatures. Well, cold for here anyway. It's my buddy's birthday coming up so I am trying to figure out where to take him to eat. We just got his gift in the mail - handmade turkish coffee set. It is beautiful, and now I want one lol. Not that I have room for one anywhere. That said, I need to order more coffee as I have been drinking the hell out of the latest Ethiopean my coffee dude got in stock. Yay for the French press.

Food today looks like another apple or two. Lunch is a bigass crabcake (OMG breadcrumbs!) and salad. Dinner will be hmm...fish? Maybe a curried fish soup? Beef stew? Eh, I will figure it out.

Meh, I just tried to eat a cortland apple..... terrible, like when you get a really bad red "delicious" apple that is anything but delicious.... how is it that one type of apple can be so awesome sometimes, and abysmal the next time, so often?

Like I don't think I have ever had a bad granny smith apple.... they always taste the same to me.

Apples get mealy (like a nasty Red Delicious) as they age. If you want a crisp one, you want a young one.
