We were going to take a tour b/c we are thinking about retiring there. We have a friend who lives off and on in Tuscon, going to see him for sure. Then go north through Phoenix and Flagstaff and visit the Grand Canyon. DH has never seen it.

I lived in AZ for a few years as a child, my dad was a prof at NAU in Flagstaff.

I used to know how many miles it is from the tippy top of the panhandle to the bottomest tip of the Rio Grande Valley. It's crazy. I need to look that up again.

Ah, that sounds like a nice trip. If I ever won the lottery I'd think about moving to Flagstaff, such a nice area or Sedona if I could learn to ignore all the hippy aspects. Have fun and yeah, give us a wave as you drive by
