My wife's father was the physical therapist for the Israeli National Soccer Team so I asked her, "Well, you don't like sports but you must like soccer right?" Her response, "Hell no."

Nameless, I was going to post something similar to your blah, blah comment. I am also clueless (couldn't care less) when it comes to sports. I guess it comes from the constant disappointment of being a METS fan. I am numb from years of "OH well, maybe next year" I learned a little about football from my Mom, a die hard Packer's fan.

I wondered about this kind of community. It was oft portrayed in movies and on TV, but I couldn't relate to it at all!

I live in a puritanical old New England town that only started selling liquor within the past few years.
