    from what I recall he wrote the book 10 years in the future and then decided that it just did not work. As such, he went back to basically a continuation of where the characters were before.

    yeah, GRRM said he fast forwarded 10 years. How it would have looked I have no clue. I can't even imagine what it would be like. I'm glad he rewrote it because way too much could happen in 10 years to just leave it out.

    Really? Huh, I have 3 of the five. First, Second, and Fourth. I did not pay $3000. I should look into getting the third and fifth lol

    They are. I collect signed first editions much like Duece Bigalo collects Canadian Quarters (I've got like, um six of them...)

    Actually, I just collect the ones I like. If I read a book and enjoy it I try to grab the signed first before it gets popular and explodes in price. You can usually get newer releases for less than $50. Heck, I think I got A Feast for Crows (Song of Ice and Fire IV) for less than $20 when it was first released.
