Hey! Get out of the rest of the forum and back in the journals! We don't need to lose you because other folks can't accept responsibility for themselves.

Oh, you aren't losing me. You guys are great. I just need to stop being bored at work. I will say it was funny as shit the snarky comments directed at men about making snarky comments when the 'man' was a spambot. LAWL.

    A quick opinion poll....

Employee Bob gets off work at 1:15 PM. Today Bob has to attended mandatory training from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Should Bob be paid the fifteen minutes between his regular time off and the time training starts? Yes/No and why?

Yes. Bob is not actually off for those 15 minutes. He cannot go anywhere except maybe the bathroom.
Is the training time paid time? If so, he should be allowed to clock out at 3:30.

Yes. Bob is definitely getting paid from 1:30-3:30. it is the 1:15-1:30 time frame that is in question. Sorry I should have clarified.

In that case he should definitely get paid for the 1:15-1:30 timeslot.

Bob is still on call for that 15 minutes because his bosses know he cannot leave and still make training on time. He is still on the clock.

This if you are private sector. If it's government, you're all fuckered up.
