    Hmm...yeah, they are kind of turnippy, but I always think of them like carrots. Maybe that is because of how they look - my brain just sees them and says huh, looks like a carrot. I would not say they taste like potatoes.

    I do like roasted veggies, especially on the grill. Maybe I could try that out this weekend.

    I toss parsnips in with roasts same way I would potatoes or carrots.
