Ok since you have small space, tell me what you think about this idea I heard about: get a gallon Ziploc: as you eat meat from bones (chicken, pork roast..whatever), take the meat off before serving, their the bones on the freezer, when the bag is full make broth. Now, going to get bones is fine but doing this you have bones to get you started until you get more just for bone broth. I reorganised my freezer and found a rotisserie chicken carcass, in the pot it went.

It's not a bad idea. I'll start tossing bones into a bag

I do this, but I have a separate container for pork, chicken, beef, rabbit, turkey, etc. My freezer looks like a serial killer's.

I keep a gallon bag in the freezer and throw my bones in it; I only use maybe half a bag for broth. Works great.

Edit: I don't separate them. Bones is bones.

Yeah, I usually make a couple of gallons of stock at a time which can get cumbersome. I think y'alls version makes more sense as I can make smaller amounts. Note to self...get a bone bag.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

What the F&#* is a decorum? - Mr. Anthony
