    Hahahah "Imma ball out on that front". I think I love you.

    My sitch is very similar....I was living with my bf for three years, started grad school, then broke up with him. I needed a place to live and some random girl in my program suggested we live together. I was pretty desperate so I went for it....aaaaand now I'd give my left arm to live by myself. Luckily, I'm done with school in 4 months and I'll get to live alone while I complete my 9 month internship! Woot!

    I don't think it's selfish AT ALL to be focusing on yourself. You should always focus on yourself. So should I. So should everyone. I'm focusing on that too. I'm trying to stop caring what these stupid girls I go to school with think about me and just do my own thing. "Ball out"....naa mean?

    Are you doing another 30 day challenge or something similar anytime soon?

    MONDAY! I am doing a challenge on monday! After I finish this stupid juice cleanse haha. I am the type of person who likes to try things - even if I don't always agree with it, just to see how it goes and say that I did it once. That is my current situation with this juice cleanse. I am almost done with day 1 (of 3)...it is an interesting experience to say the least. Here are my thoughts so far:

    1. I just want to chew on something
    2. It is making me crave hamburgers (which is better than chocolate and pizza! especially since I am getting back to primal!)
    3. I keep heading to the kitchen for food and catch myself and say "waitttt a minutteeee, you are juicin' , you can't eat!"

    It has certainly made me realize how mindlessly I eat. It has made me appreciate the great primal foods out there that I am now soooo looking forward to. It also made me appreciate the fact that I have teeth and can chew food, which I plan on doing monday. : )

    Lets see how I feel tomorrow....

    Whoop Whoop.

    And on that note...I feel like my journal needs some more flavor. So I am going to post some music every once in a while. I am a huge hip hop fan, although I do not discriminate when it comes to music. So here is a relaxed hipster hip hop song I am feeling these days.

    Alright! I think I'm going to join you on the 30 day challenge! I'm notoriously bad at challenges, but I think that if I'm doing it with someone else it will be helpful. We will have to support each other, for real, because I have a feeling it's going to be tough. I'm serious about it though...I'm even going to take before and after pics, woot!

    Sweet idea with the music! And good luck getting through your juice fast...that does not sound like fun to me, but I get the whole wanting to try it out thing. I'm so excited, I can't wait to get started with the 30 days, I have a feeling it's JUST what I need

    Dudes! This sounds awesome! Also - just gave up the juice cleanse haha. Totally not my dig. Hey I lasted 11 juices - or approximately 11/18th of the way - more than half! I am glad I tried it though- made me appreciate food!

    I am excited to get some goals down on here to follow. I want to make sure though, that it isn't something that I can't sustain. I was super strict last 30 day challenge a year ago which was great because I got great results but it all went to shit the day after and now I'm up above where I even started. SO, my rules may be a little more relaxed so that I can make it a lifestyle as opposed to a "diet". Plus it is good for me to work on a little bit of balance and not be all or nothing!!

    One thing that will be off limits - JUICE! hahaha.

    Alright al09 , lets post our plans tomorrow so we can support each others efforts!

    Thanks for getting back to me! I've been off this for awhile too...A lot has changed since I posted that (aka no longer training competitively in the pool), but appreciate your advice! I think I'm going to look in the BCAAs because I'm still working out and obviously want to look awesome
