Well, it's good if you're hungry when you're just about to eat, right?
What are your goals? Are you making progress toward them?
I am at my goal weight and have been since September. I feel hungry before I eat, and I see that as a healthy thing.
So I noticed that the first 2 weeks or so of going primal, I basically had no appetite. I attributed this to eating a lot of fat. I am eating the same, but have noticed that the last few days my tummy is rumbling around lunchtime. Is this normal? I'm concerned I may be eating too much or maybe I'm not really hungry, just bored. I don't eat between meals, but I am feeling empty quicker. Should I be IFing or something?

Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition
Primal since July 2010...skinniest I've ever been and the least stressed about food
My goal is to lose about 20 pounds. I don't think I have lost any weight yet, but I feel pretty good and I feel "lighter". Not really seeing any results yet though, and I was wondering if the feeling of fullness, but still having energy meant that my body was burning my fat as fuel, and now that I'm more hungry, it's going back to burning carbs? But I haven't increased my carbs and they all come from veggies anyway.
what do your meals look like and what times do you eat them.
please provide a log.
your body is also still adjusting to this diet, its changing inside so dont be surprised if the sensations in your body change. there may be many reasons why your body is communicating to you that it wants to be fed. may be due to malnutrition before switching to this lifestyle 3 weeks ago etc.

Starting Weight: 238 lb
Current Weight: 224 lb
Goal: 190-200 lb
Height: 6'-0"
Age: 27
Today I had:
2 overeasy eggs, spinach, peppers, mushroom, onion sauteed in bacon fat. Coffee with coconut milk
Spinach salad with peppers, cucumber, avocado, bacon, feta cheese and oil and vinegar
A couple almonds and lots of water. And I still feel like I could eat something. Last week I was never hungry for breakfast or lunch.
i think you should listening to your body and eat more.
you also don't specify how much fat you consume.
you could increase your fat intake for the improved satiety level.
almonds make me crave other food, so that may be the case for you too.

That doesn't look like that much food to me. I'd just listen to your body. It needs time to adjust, so just feed it.

Specifically looks low on protein to me....unless you had tons of feta and bacon.

Just like any other signal your body and mind may send you, hunger is there for a reason!
As long as you're eating real food, you can fully trust your appetite. If your diet were composed of bread, pasta, and juice, then it would be a different story. But right now, you're doing way more damage by worrying about "eating too much". Not only are you clearly not eating enough, but the stress of worrying over how many calories you're taking in is going to mess up your progress.

Echoing all the replies here:
It's really very simple, marielle. As long as the foods you are eating are (and this is very important) firmly on the primal approved list, you should eat to satisfy your body's signals, just like everyone else here has said. If you're hungry, is in truly belly rumbling hunger, EAT!
