Tried this tonight with some turkey, mayo, sliced pickled jalapenos and salt & pepper. DELICIOUS. Toasted it a bit in the over so it would crisp up and melted sharp cheddar over it... my lord. I have to try some variations. THE SANDWICH IS BACK, MY FRIENDS.

Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this wonderful recipe! Made it tonight for my family to have with burgers. I made it 1/2 flax, 1/2 almond, and used coconut oil. I divided one recipe between 2 ramekins, microwaved those, popped the bread out to cool, and did the same process again because I needed 4 buns. When they were cool sliced them in half and they were the perfect size/thickness for the burgers. My kids loved them! My son, who's 15, has really embraced the primal way of eating since I started doing it. My 10 year old, not so much, but I'm working on her.

It's a US measurement of volume. So they have measuring cups. It is possible to buy them in other countries though, here in the UK I think our measuring cups are slightly different sizes (not much though).

If you eat tapioca starch + dairy + eggs, Chebe bread mix is pretty amazing. I made a double batch the other day:

Report back and tell us how you like it! It's so good, and I really, really like bread so I'd know if it was just a mediocre imitation, lol.

awesome! good to know! I'm one of those who enjoys the "plain" taste of bread, like homemade bread, yum.

Yum, me too. I have probably eaten just as many plain grains in my life as combined with something. Some say they have no flavor; I say those people are nuts! Lol plain white rice is very tasty. heh
